The world-renowned Toronto Children’s Chorus is excited to welcome you to ‘Untravelled Worlds’. For the first time in two years, all of our choirs will perform on one stage! Please join our KinderNotes, Training Choirs, Main Choir, and the Toronto Youth Choir as they share works by composers from Canada, New Zealand-Aotearoa, Samoa, Malaysia, Latvia, Jordan, and Argentina. Plus, don’t miss the Toronto premiere of Shireen Abu-Khader and Natalie Fasheh’s musical setting of the Arabic proverb, Tubb il jarra. Please join us in the beautiful Bluma Appel Theatre to venture forth into ‘Untravelled Worlds’!

The world-renowned Toronto Children’s Chorus invites you to attend its spring concert, Windows on the World, joyously presented IN PERSON for the first time in two long years! (Patrons may also choose to view the concert online – one last time.) Please join the Training Choirs and the full Main Choir as they perform a colourful kaleidoscope of songs from around the globe, including a number of favourites from the movies! Please join us in the beautiful and spacious surroundings of the 1,400-seat Yorkminster Park Baptist Church – as we all open our Windows on the World!

On the Horizon

The Toronto Children’s Chorus Chamber Choir and Toronto Youth Choir look forward to welcoming you to ‘On the Horizon’, a musical journey spanning a thousand years – from Hildegard von Bingen’s haunting 12th century chant, ‘O Viridissima Virga’, to the live Canadian premiere of ‘The Wedding’, by Toronto composer, Hussein Janmohamed. Our choral travels will also circle the globe, featuring works by composers from the Philippines, New Zealand, Samoa, Canada, the United States, Colombia, Great Britain, Germany, Latvia, Slovakia, and Africa! Please join us in the Social Hall of Toronto’s exquisite Ismaili Centre – and, if you are able to arrive early for the concert, you might also wish to tour the fascinating adjacent Aga Khan Museum!
