Your financial support ensures that the legacy of the Chorus as The Voice of Excellence continues to endure.

givingopportunitiesThe Toronto Children’s Chorus is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that has been providing children with life-enhancing experiences and music education as part of one of the finest treble choirs in the world since 1978. The Chorus is recognized for its exquisite artistry in performance and its educational excellence and continued development of leadership and life skills in children.

Providing an exceptional education, performance and experience to chorister families and to the community at large has high costs associated with it; costs not met by tuition and concert ticket sales alone. Carrying on the work of the Chorus as a world-class organization requires the financial support of members of the community – individual members, corporate and foundation support.

Program (General) – Supporting annual operating funds for program expenses such as purchasing music, educational materials and season concert production.   The core Chorus program serves more than 300 children and youth each year and is our greatest area of need.

Jean Ashworth Bartle Bursary Fund – The Chorus strives to assist as any families as possible through the Jean Ashworth Bartle Bursary Fund, named in honour of the Choir’s Founder and Conductor Laureate. Qualified bursary applicants can receive between 25%-50% of a child’s tuition fee.

National & International Performance Tour Fund – Since 1982, the Chorus has held a distinguished reputation on the national and international choral circuit, performing in more than 30 tours around the world and Canada combined. Donations to the Tour Fund help lower the cost of ongoing touring activities.

Anne-Marie Potton Fund (Tour Bursary Fund) – Direct your donation towards touring choristers who demonstrate financial need, in memory of chorister Anne-Marie Potton. Qualified tour bursary applicants can receive between 25%-50% of a child’s tour fee.

Every fall heralds in the annual United Way workplace giving appeal.  If your employer takes part in this program, please remember to consider designating all or part of your donation to the TCC.  It is an easy and flexible way to support your charity of choice.
Matching Gifts?  You can also grow your support any time during the year (often double it) if your employer has a matching gift program.
