A Chorus Christmas: Sounds of the Season

Experience the joy of over 300 children singnig in beautiful harmony at magical Roy Thomson Hall! The Chorus will sing a 20th anniversary commemorative performance of The Last Straw by Toronto’s Ruth Watson Henderson. This concert will also feature the sophisticated sound of our 150-voice Alumni Choir.

With our top choir, the touring Chorale Choir, Ms Atchison will perform masterworks such as Schubert’s Ständchen, the Mozart Vespers and O Quam Vaga by Vivaldi. Wordscapes – Through the Eyes of a Child

A wonderful concert for your little ones! The Training Choirs (children aged 6 – 12) will perform music with poetry written by children or for children, including Ruth Watson Henderson’s song cycle Through the Eyes of Children. With instrumental solos from our choristers and a special performance by Cantare Choir.

Sounds from Poles Apart

A treat for every choral music lover – not one but two renowned treble choirs on the same stage! Joining the Toronto Children’s Chorus’ Main Choir will be Gondwana Voices, Australia’s leading choir for young voices, presenting an array of music from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and from poles apart!
