The TCC’s Choral Scholars and Training Choirs will delight you with singing, dancing and songs of dance, including Aaron Copland‘s rousing Stomp Your Foot! Guest artists will be Toronto’s exciting Nagata Shachu taiko drummers and our own Bradley Christensen, baritone.

With One Voice!

Saturday, November 3, 2012 – 3:00 p.m.

The TCC Main Choir and the Bach Children’s Chorus join forces to sing and dance with one voice! Combined works include Feller from Fortune by Bob Chilcott, and three African songs arranged by Scott Leithead. This concert will honour Linda Beaupre as she marks her twenty-fifth and final season as Musical Director of BCC.

A Chorus Christmas: Dancing Days

Saturday, December 15, 2012 – 2:00 p.m.

This annual holiday favourite will feature all choirs of the TCC and our alumni Choir performing joyous seasonal repertoire, including John Rutter‘s beloved Dancing Day.  The Chorus will also sing the North American premiere of David Hamilton‘s Dance-Song to the Creator and the World premiere of Ruth Watson Henderson‘s Rejoice and Be Merry, dedicated to the choir and written especially for this concert in celebration of her 80th birthday. Guest Artists Judy Loman (harp), Andy Morris (percussion), Chris Dawes (organ), and The True North Brass will join us to celebrate our 35th Anniversary season.

Toronto Children’s Chorus & Canadian Chamber Choir

Friday, February 8, 2013 – 7:30 p.m.

Main Choir choristers are thrilled to perform with the Canadian Chamber Choir and Dr. Julia Davids, Artistic Director. This professional 18-voice choir, with members from across Canada, has been called “a national treasure”. A highlight will be the performance of Sanctus, originally dedicated to Dr. Davids by composer Jeff Enns.

Bring your family and friends and enjoy an hour or two of great music at a FREE drop-in concert in the beautifully decorated lobby of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
